Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Best Of Holt

Andre Braugher has died at the age of 61. The versatile and esteemed actor leaves behind an incredible body of work—from GLORY to Homicide: Life On The Streets to GET ON THE BUS to THE MIST to Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He excelled in every role by bringing a humane sense of gravitas to his characters. Arguably, this may best be on display with Captain Raymond Holt in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The sitcom allowed Braugher to be hilarious, but also lots of truly heartwarming (and heartbreaking) scenes of sincerity that could only work thanks to a performer of his calibre.

In memory of this giant of acting, here’s a compilation of the “best” of Capt. Holt from the show. Enjoy, remember the man for what he gave the world, and be sure to tell the people you love and/or admire how you feel about them—no reason to wait to eulogize people when you can say it while they can still hear it.
