Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Mark became a film nerd thanks to Star Wars, Star Trek, and other various science fiction movies. Moving to Austin, TX further diversified his tastes in movies. As a college student at the University of Texas, Mark learned to love and appreciate a wide variety of films, including indie and foreign language features. Andy Vanderbilt

Andy Vanderbilt, or Vandy to many, is a Chicago-born artist who has dabbled in music with such bands as The Romeros, writing for websites like Daily Grindhouse, and, most predominantly, drawing. A lover of monsters of all shapes and sizes he can commonly be seen drawing his own original kaiju creation Lunagon, a bizarre giant cat/lizard lady with ridiculous hair. He hopes to one day make a comic book about her if he can stop getting distracted by every other idea that falls out of his head such as drawing famous kaiju doing really silly things. Raul is a film programmer in Chicago for over 13 years. Raul programs for Comfort Station Logan Square, Full Spectrum Features, The Nightingale Cinema and is the Senior programmer at the Midwest Film Festival and programed the After dark series at the Chicago International Film Festival. Raul is on staff for the Chicago Underground Film Festival and on the screening committee for True/False, Onion City, Camden International, and the Ann Arbor Film Festival. Campbell Farish founded CaptiveFate Software which specializes in development for iOS. He lives in DC and, little-known fact, he was Kayne's presidential running mate. Wait, did Kayne have a running mate? Was it Kim?

When not DC insider-ing Campbell can be seen outsider-ing with his giant boyfriend, who is at least 20 hands tall and twice as manly. They randomly have a hook-up—so look out for reviews of some of America's biggest acts fetching their bag! I'm talking Cher.

Ashley Rappa

Ashley Rappa is a Rhode Island-based writer of people, places, and things. She fangirls over the Oxford comma, mother effing nature, old books, and space.

She watches scary scenes through her fingers and suspects the answer to the world’s problems is probably: ‘cheese.’
