Chad The Bird Eulogizes Jimmy Buffett
The world got a little lamer over the weekend as the international bartender and prolific troubadour Jimmy Buffett died the night of September 1st. It’s fitting that he passed on America’s Labor Day weekend, a time synonymous with one last party to signify the end of summer. The artist is inextricably tied to the drink a margarita, making it impossible to not know his work let alone the man. Truly an impressive legacy, not even factoring in his scene-stealing turn as an extra in JURASSIC WORLD.
But for a truly great eulogy, it’s time to turn our attentions to Chicago’s great orator, Chad The Bird. We’ve featured Chad’s unique mixture of knowledge, hilarity, and genuine heart before. The avian puppet always knows just what to say as he pays tribute to the fallen international man of leisure.
The description of the video reads:
In which we say adios and not mañana. I was originally assigned something else but that morning we lost the Pirate Laureate of Key West and, being a Parrothead by default: I had to change tack, pray to the Party Gods and call @BillLarkin to help me out with a little Bacon Cheeseburger Rock. Raise your pink drinks and take it easy in honor of the great Jimmy Buffett.
