Olivia Rodrigo’s 2023 Tiny Desk Concert

Olivia Rodrigo has managed to cross lots of generational divides thanks to a sort of throwback not necessarily in song, but in attitude. It turns out that angst, heartbreak, defiance, and falling in love are eternal feelings that everyone experiences. Add onto that the fact the songs are catchy bops with clever lyrics, strong production, and sincere emotion and you’ve got a cross cultural hitmaker.

Rodrigo performs her second Tiny Desk Concert for NPR Music, playing songs from her most recent album, GUTS. It’s a solid performance that showcases the heart of her music through the pared down instrumentation. For those interested, the set list consists of:
