Reality Jump on TikTok
Much like Vine before it, a constrained runtime along with easy-to-learn video editing tools has led to a proliferation of content on TikTok. Some of it is good, some of it is bad, but all of it is being harvested by the Chinese government. While there are many users who excel at comedy on the platform, there’s also a large contingent who find innovative ways to use the layout and limitations of TikTok to make something weird, unique, and/or fun.
Reality Jump is one such TikTok user who uses odd CGI combined to produce these short bursts of entertainment. Powered by Rokoko mocap software, these videos range from simple oddities to hauntingly creepy segments, all done impeccably. Check out some of the highlights below:
