Hopefully by now you’ve discovered the joy of GLASS ONION. The latest Benoit Blanc mystery is another terrifically stylish whodunnit featuring beautiful people doing ugly things, just like its predecessor KNIVES OUT. Of course, all that style and wit isn’t an accident but by design from writer/director Rian Johnson. In this video from Vanity Fair, Johnson walks through the arrival scene from GLASS ONION. He shows how the shot composition helps tell the story, the way that costume design establishes character, and some tricks of the trade and inside anecdotes.
