Rifftrax: HONOR AND GLORY

I love me some Mystery Science Theater 3000. I get people that complain about talking over movies that they find to be beloved or charming or whatever. But if your love of something can be easily insulted by a dude and some puppets making jokes, maybe your love isn’t that strong? Or if a film crumbles with a couple of well-timed quips, perhaps it’s not as great as you’re saying it is? My favorite movie is JAWS and my enduring love for it doesn’t weaken because the Rifftrax fellows make it seem like a shark is singing at one point. Toughen up, buttercup.

Speaking of Rifftrax, the gang have put up, in full, one of their most fun riffs on top of a terrifically fun movie. HONOR AND GLORY is a 1992 action film from director Grant Ho that stars Cynthia Rothrock, Donna Jason, John Miller, and Robin Shou in a world where seemingly everyone knows the martial arts and nothing makes a whole lot of sense. It’s full of weird idiosyncrasies in casting, editing, and dialogue that make for a hilarious riff from Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett.

Enjoy Rifftrax: HONOR AND GLORY!
