Small Soldiers: War For The Nekron

Remember SMALL SOLDIERS? The 1998 Joe Dante film about toys coming to life and carrying over their battles into the real world? Well, you should because it’s a pretty sweet adventure comedy with some fun animatronics (and kinda dodgy ‘90s CG). There may be something new cooking with the SMALL SOLDIERS franchise as Comadran Studios released the proof of concept trailer below. They posted the following with it:

Get ready to dive into the extraordinary world of Small Soldiers, an epic toy battle brought to life in Unreal Engine 5, pushing the boundaries of cinematic storytelling to new heights!

Would this be a game? A movie? Comadran Studios company bio states it makes both and there’s no real telling what this is meant to be. Lots of people on the web seem dubious of where this is all going, but for right now we can just enjoy this pretty sweet proof of concept trailer that has some fun ideas and cool visuals.
