Steven Seagal Chokehold Diorama

It’s always an honor to recognize when you are witnessing an artist at the peak of their powers. Such is the case with Bobby Fingers and his incredible diorama work/hilarious videos detailing the making of his incredible diorama work. We’ve featured Bobby Fingers on here before when he made a diorama depicting the infamous night that Mel Gibson was arrested for a DUI in Malibu. The maestro is back, this time with a recreated and miniaturized scene of the time that Steven Seagal got choked the fuck out by master stuntman Gene LeBell.

For those who may not be familiar, allegedly (though it’s kind of confirmed - even within this specific video) Steven Seagal used to enjoy boasting that no one could successfully subdue him with a chokehold due to his incredible aikido skills. One day, while working on 1991’s OUT FOR JUSTICE, stuntman/martial artist/literal badass legend Gene LeBell took him up on such a challenge. The result was that Seagal did, indeed, get choked the fuck out by master stuntman Gene LeBell.

But that hilarious anecdote is but a small piece of this hilarious video, as Fingers’ Irish ASMR-like voice calmly walks you through his process only with various digressions and detours that are all amazing. They include speaking to a stuntman who was there that day, launching a GoFundMe campaign to go to the United States so he can try Seagal’s now defunct energy drink, getting into an altercation with another stunt performer, and debating whether or not to include the possibility that Seagal did, in fact, shit himself upon getting choked the fuck out by master stuntman Gene LeBell.
