“Under Pressure” (AFTERSUN version)

If you haven’t yet, you should make haste to watch last year’s AFTERSUN. It’s a beautiful movie about a father and daughter on a vacation together, but clearly it’s about a whole lot more than that. (It’s not currently streaming anywhere but is available for rent/purchase from most digital retailers)

One of the best moments of the incredible film involves a very unique mix of “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie. It’s a powerful sequence that is great to revisit through the magic of song—except that it’s incredibly hard to find this particular version anywhere.

Luckily the Internet arrives once more in our hour of need to deliver. The video below features that mix of “Under Pressure” all laid over montage of scenes from AFTERSUN. It’s probably best to watch the movie first, but it’s kind of hard to spoil something like Charlotte Wells’ film.
