AFTER YANG (2021)

The trailer for AFTER YANG, which played Cannes in 2021 but also showed at this 2022’s Sundance. Based on a short story by Alexander Weinstein, the film is written and directed by Kogonada (COLUMBUS) and stars Colin Farrell, Jodi Turner-Smith, Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, Justin H. Min, and Clifton Collins Jr. The plot summary is:

When his young daughter's beloved companion - an android named Yang - malfunctions, Jake searches for a way to repair him. In the process, Jake discovers the life that has been passing in front of him, reconnecting with his wife and daughter across a distance he didn't know was there.

AFTER YANG will be released by A24 on March 4, 2022.
