Adult Swim 2023 April Fools

[adult swim] loves them some April Fools’ Day. The network has a long tradition of doing something odd the night of April Fools’, whether it’s showing a marathon of THE ROOM or premiering Rick And Morty early to its ravenous audience. This year is no exception as the channel unleashed a delicious slice of weirdness for 90 minutes in observance of the special day.

2023 is no exception, but was more of a smorgasbord of weirdness. Allegedly written by AI, the night’s broadcast involved “fast forwarding” to show clips from new episodes from future seasons of Smiling Friends and Teenage Euthanasia and a new show called Royal Crackers. But it also “rewound” to a classic Space Ghost: Coast To Coast episode (with Conan O’Brien and a meandering ant), some Unedited Footage Of A Bear, the infomercial for Broomshakalaka, and [Ambient Swim]—which is ambient music played over train video in some of the most soothing footage this side of Joe Pera.

There’s something for everyone in these 90 minutes, so enjoy.
