Every Batman ‘66 Window Cameo
I get that the Batman TV series that ran from 1966 to 1968 (120 episodes!) isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. This is especially true of those raised on Frank Miller’s darker version of the caped crusader. But even if you prefer your dark knight with a side of the old ultraviolence, Batman ‘66 remains a pretty great exercise in camp and pop art that is delightful in its goofy exuberance.
One of the recurring bits on the show was that while the dynamic duo was climbing up the outside wall of some building, a celebrity (or two) would pop their head out to greet Gotham’s protectors. YouTuber Tommy Westphall's Snowglobe has assembled all of these cameos into one supercut. Below is the listing of the celebrities that make an appearance:
Jerry Lewis
George Cisar (from the 1966 film)
Dick Clark
Van Williams and Bruce Lee as The Green Hornet and Kato from The Green Hornet
Sammy Davis Jr.
Bill Dana as José Jiménez
Howard Duff as of Sam Stone from Felony Squad
Werner Klemperer as Colonel Kiink from Hogan's Heroes
Ted Cassidy as Lurch from The Addams Family
Don Ho
Santa Claus
Art Linkletter
Edward G. Robinson
Suzy Knickerbocker
The Carpet King
