WE FORGOT ABOUT THE ZOMBIES (2022)

Chris McInroy has created a whole stable of amazing horror comedy shorts. McInroy is the writer/director of DEATH METAL, GUTS (previously featured here), and WE SUMMONED A DEMON. He also wrote and directed the uproarious “One Time In The Woods” segment of 2019’s SCARE PACKAGE. The dude excels at taking well-worn horror tropes and scenarios and then injecting a terrifically absurdist element into the narrative to produce something hilariously unique.

His latest, 2022’s WE FORGOT ABOUT THE ZOMBIES, is no exception. Two friends (Carlos Larotta and Kyle Irion) are escaping a horde of zombies when it’s revealed one of them has been bitten. The duo desperately search for a cure with mixed results.
