BLADE RUNNER 2049 + Low Roar

The movie/music tribute mash-up is probably seen as the basic bitch of YouTube videos. But you know what? Sometimes they are incredible. Such is the case with today’s video from YouTube channel Sampaku, “BLADE RUNNER 2049 - I’ll Keep Coming”.

This video is expertly edited, cutting between scenes and moments to drive home the themes of Villeneuve’s 2017 film while deftly incorporating Low Roar’s “I’ll Keep Coming” (from their 2014 album, 0). Some may be familiar with the song (and indeed the band) from Death Standing as Hideo Kojima used them throughout, including “I’ll Keep Coming”. It’s a gorgeous piece of work that shows how well the two compliment each other while elevating both and it’s certainly worth watching.
