In The Not Too Distant Future…

Some Site News And Gratitude

Merry New Year! I hope you have a fun New Year’s Eve (be sure to use some of our Mixtapes, which are equally perfect for fueling your shindigs and your quiet nights in) and that tomorrow is the start of something new and good for you.

Thank you for checking out Neon Splatter, even if this is the only time you’ve been here. We really appreciate you giving us a chance as we are still just starting out (it’s been less than eight months since launch) and hopefully we can provide even more delights soon.

A bit of site news: We will be off January 3 - January 7, with posting resuming January 10. This is in part due to busy schedules but also there are some changes afoot in the state of Splatter. In a few months there will be some new recurring features and regularly contributing writers to join the roster and brighten up your day. There are also theme weeks and theme months planned ahead, and some few other new additions and changes coming along the way. We hope you stick around and/or come back and see what we become as plod ever onward into the bright future we hope to build.

Thank you again for reading and visiting us. If you haven’t yet, please check out this post where you can learn ways to support all of our contributors (from simply saying “thanks!” to following them on Twitter to checking out their projects to donating money for their endeavors). They are supremely talented and kindhearted people and right now we all must come together to help each other and lift one another out of the Swamps of Sadness that reality has become.

And now we leave you with this, from the infamous KDOC First Night 2013 New Year’s Eve broadcast with Jamie Kennedy. The whole thing was a repugnant debacle, but then the ending is pure, unadulterated chaotic disaster. Enjoy!
